I have been proofreading one book which is going to be published. It’s the book about spies in Europe during World War 2. I’m working a translated book from English into Japanese. I expect a reward for this job. I have checked mainly proper nouns which includes not only English nouns but also German and Russian. I know some basic basic German like how to pronounce. But, I have no idea in Russian. Therefore, I have got permission to ignore Russian stuff from the person of a publishing company. Anyway, I have completed almost one hundred out of seven hundred pages( The original English book has almost five hundred pages. On the other hand, Japanese-translated book has more than seven handred pages).
In the very begging, I felt clumsy in doing the job. However, I am getting used to it. Now it’s kind of fun although I feel some responsibility.
